Pre-Kindergarten I
3 and 4 year olds
Introducing and learning the basic skills will be the focal point of the pre-kindergarten I class. We will introduce the alphabet and letter recognition, numbers and numeral recognition through step by step activities, such as tracing, writing, counting and coloring exercises.
Color and shape identification, cutting, matching, arts and crafts, pre-handwriting skills as well as visual discrimination exercises will also be a part of the 3 and 4 year old curriculum.
We offer a non-denominational, child friendly, Christian based study which will focus on the principles of the New and Old Testaments by reading, discussing and creating take home bible stories.
Basic computer skills will be introduced, as well as, the use of the learning and literacy center.
During open play the children will have the opportunity to experience different learning centers which will exercise their fine motor skills, as well as, their imagination and social development.
